Friday the 29th of April, 2011 Prince William & Kate Middleton were married. With the 8 hour time difference we opted not to get up at 3 am to watch the beginnings of the festivities. However, Evan & I logged many hours leading up the the blessed day watching all the documentaries and programs on the couple and the royal family. Some amazing footage, interesting stories, and historical tidbits came from the numerous programs that we were glued to. I will continue to blame it on my British roots. :) Steve & DelRae were kind enough to record the LIVE footage for us to all come together and watch Friday evening over British cuisine (Shepard's pie) and some lovely Newcastle beer- just what the newlyweds were enjoying at that very moment I am sure! :)
